Wool Revival DK Yarn by West Yorkshire Spinners

Annually, we handle thousands of kilos of British wool; each spin generates surplus material that typically becomes 'waste'. We cherish our wool and dislike waste, so we've given it a well-deserved revival. We commence by gathering this valuable and usable fiber post each spinning frame clean-down. Next, we send it to our local production partner for carding, combing, and converting back into tops before it returns to our mill for spinning. This spun yarn then heads out for local dyeing, and once dyed, it's back to us for finishing, balling, and packing. Sustainability is our core focus, and all this occurs within a 10-mile radius something we're very proud of. Join us in our Wool Revival and help save wool from waste.

WYS has taken its wool and nylon 'waste' and given it some TLC treatment to produce gorgeous 100g balls of 100% recycled yarn. The little bit of nylon content means you can also use it for creating socks!
